Plan an AI-built product before choosing its stack
Start with the work the product must support. A website, an internal tool and a multi-user system need different plans, even when all three are built by the same AI agent. Choosing a framework before mapping that work often postpones the decisions that matter.
Describe how a person enters, completes the main task and returns later. Include the operator who manages the result. For a gift-card business, selling a card is only half the journey: staff also need to validate, redeem and reconcile it without duplicate redemption.
Put the costly unknowns first
Permissions, payment truth, data ownership and external service access can change the design. Establish those before polishing minor presentation details. Where an answer is unavailable, document the uncertainty and a reversible assumption rather than quietly inventing a business rule.
Choose a small first release
Define one useful result, the checks it must pass and what is deliberately postponed. Use QERA to organize the initial answers, then have your chosen provider review the dependencies and propose an implementation sequence. Provider estimates are planning judgments, not guarantees of delivery.
